This Privacy Policy explains what information Mealnest the Meal Planner collects, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Quiz answers: household size, meals to plan, food preference, foods to avoid, allergies or restrictions you choose to share, cooking time, budget style and cooking skill.
• Account details: your email address, name and a securely hashed password.
• Purchase details: confirmation of your payment from TucoPay (such as the sale identifier). We never receive or store your full card details.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and basic logs used to keep the service secure.

How we use your information

• To generate your meal plans and grocery lists.
• To create and secure your account, including activation and password reset emails.
• To provide support when you contact us.

Your quiz answers are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your meal plans. We do not sell your personal information.

Sensitive information

Allergies and restrictions are optional and only used to leave ingredients out of your plans. Meal Planner does not collect medical information and does not provide medical or nutritional advice.

Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie for signing in and for protecting forms. We do not use advertising cookies in the app.

Data retention and your rights

We keep your account and meal plans while your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us.

Security

Passwords are hashed, activation and reset links are single-use and expire, and all access to your meal plans requires you to be signed in.
